Trade unions have raised about 80 cases of alleged violations of the OECD Guidelines for MNEs with National Contact Points (NCPs) since 2001. About half of those cases have been closed by NCPs, while the other half remains to be resolved. Some cases date back to 2003. Recent cases include company activities in China.
The TUAC list of
cases summarises the issues at stake and efforts by NCPs
to resolve the problems, and analyses the outcome.
