L20 Forum: More jobs, better jobs for Stronger Growth - Melbourne, Australia, 24 June 2014

The L20 will convene its first Forum in Melbourne to step up dialogue on ‘Jobs and Growth’ with other official G20 outreach groups including the Business 20 (B20), Civil 20 (C20), Think 20 (T20) and Youth 20 (Y20).
Under the Australia’s G20 Presidency, an Australian L20 Steering Committee chaired by ACTU President Ged Kearney has been established. The Australian L20 Steering Committee liaises closely with ITUC and TUAC in planning and convening L20 events and activities and ensuring appropriate L20 representation at all G20 meetings. This includes the Employment Task Force and Sherpa meetings, Labour and Finance Ministers meetings and G20 Summits.
At the Forum, members of the L20 will first discuss key messages for the L20 Summit in November and confirm policy goals leading up to the G20 Brisbane Leaders’ Summit in closed morning sessions, which will be followed by outreach group sessions in the afternoon:
