TUAC Internship on Skills and the Future of Jobs
The Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD (TUAC) is looking for an intern from February 2016 to develop policy research and policy advocacy positions on the topics of skills development, education policy and the future of jobs in view of rapid technological changes and digital disruption. Compensation and benefits are set according to applicable laws in France.

Activities
- Research, data analysis, mapping exercises, drafting of policy briefs and speaking points
- Participation in, and reporting on TUAC and OECD meetings
- Conduct any other tasks to support the above objectives.
Contractual terms
- Full-time
- 3 months minimum period starting in February 2016 - Possible extension to +3 months if agreement between parties
- The candidate needs to be enrolled in an academic programme during the time of his internship
- Remuneration and benefits aligned with applicable laws in France and, where appropriate, with conditions set by the candidate’s academic institution.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Master’s degree or PhD programme in either, education policy – e.g. Comparative and International Education, Learning and Technology, Higher Education; social and economic policy; human or youth development; or international relations
- Very good English skills
- Good research skills (please send in writing samples)
- Interest in the labour movement and international politics.
