Launch of new Global Union Research Network (GURN) website
www.gurn.info - Enhanced resources and new topics, including on Public-Private Partnerships

The Global Union Research Network (GURN) launches its new dynamic web site today www.gurn.info. The TUAC is a partner organisation of the GURN alongside the ITUC, Global Unions and ILO Actrav. After four years of existence the GURN is now proud to present a more user-friendly and attractive web site.
Users will find it much easier to navigate and search for documents and information on the many topics covered by the GURN.
Also new is the topic on Public-Private Partnership, which allows us to provide information on eleven important research topics:

The new Public-Private Partnership (PPP) page is created to shed light on the issues and concerns related to PPPs in different countries. Multi-stakeholder partnerships, which are referred in the literature as PPPs, are treated separately. The webpage, a combination of papers and websites that provide useful information, analyses and current debates on PPPs, aims at helping the teachers unions and researchers gain critical understanding of PPPs towards a more informed and strategic response to the issue. Other public services unions may find the webpage relevant for their work.
