Global labour movement mourns loss of Russian union activist

TUAC has expressed its sadness at the untimely death of the Russian trade union official Evgeny Sidorov. Evgeny was international secretary of our Russian partner organisation – the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (FNPR). He took part regularly in TUAC and OECD work and was member of the ILO Governing Body and General Council of the ITUC. He will be sadly missed by all in the global labour movement.
